12. Four bolts from the EBCM.
13. EBCM from BPMV. A light amount of force may be necessary to remove the EBCM.
CAUTION:

Do not pry on the EBCM or BPMV. Excessive force will cause damage to the EBCM.

Do not reuse the EBCM gasket or mounting bolts. Always install a new gasket and new bolts.
14. Three Allen bolts from the combination valve.
15. Combination valve from the BPMV.
16. Two transfer tubes.
CAUTION: Do not reuse the transfer tubes. Always install new transfer tubes.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New transfer tubes into the combination valve until fully seated.
2. Combination valve to the BPMV.
3. Three Allen bolts that fasten the combination valve to the BPMV.

Tighten three Allen bolts to 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.), then to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
4. New EBCM gasket to the BPMV.
CAUTION: When installing the gasket, do not use RTV or any other sealant on the gasket or mating surfaces.
5. EBCM to the BPMV.

Inspect gasket to insure correct alignment.
6. Four new EBCM bolts.

Tighten four bolts to 5 Nm (39 inch lbs.) in an X pattern.
7. BPMV to bracket.
8. Three BPMV to bracket retaining bolts.

Tighten three bolts to 9 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
9. BPMV and bracket on to the vehicle frame.
10. Three bolts that fasten the BPMV Bracket to the vehicle frame.
^
Tighten three bolts to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
11. Front and rear brake pipes to the combination valve.
^
Tighten brake pipe fitting to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
12. Three hydraulic lines to the tube adapters on the BPMV.

Tighten the three hydraulic lines to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
13. The 2-way electrical connector to the combination valve.
14. Four electrical connectors to the EBCM.
15. EHCU shield.
16. Three EHCU shield bolts.
^
Tighten three bolts to 12 Nm (8 ft. lbs.)
17. Lower vehicle.
18. Negative battery cable.
19. Bleed the system. See: Brake Bleeding
NOTE: Verify that the combination valve metering rod is depressed during bleeding.
