Electro-Hydraulic Control Unit: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle and properly support.
3. Three Electro-Hydraulic Control Unit (EHCU) shield bolts.
EHCU Cover To Fram
4. EHCU shield.
5. Four electrical connectors from Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).
6. Electrical connector from the combination valve.
7. Front and rear brake pipes from the combination valve.
8. Three hydraulic line from the tube adapters on the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV).
9. Three bolts that fasten the BPMV bracket to the vehicle frame.
10. BPMV and bracket from the vehicle.
11. Three bolts retaining the BPMV to the bracket.
