Fan Shroud: Description and Operation

Deflector

A deflector is designed to redirect air flow. It is generally installed under the vehicle to block air flow from flowing beneath the vehicle and redirect
air flow through the cooling system. Deflectors are an important part in reducing drag, preventing front end lift and increasing radiator cooling.

Air Baffles And Seals

Air baffles are installed to direct air into the radiator and Air Conditioning (A/C) condenser. Air seals are used to ensure that air passes through the
radiator and A/C condenser rather than by passing them. A missing, damaged or incorrectly installed baffle or seal may cause engine overheating.
