Power Steering Fluid Cooler: Service and Repair
NOTE: Some models are equipped with a power steering system oil cooler.
Remove or Disconnect
1. The power steering cooler hose and pipe connections.

Be prepared to catch any fluid that may drain out at the connections.

Cap the power steering hoses and pipes and cooler ends to prevent the entry of dirt.
2. The bolts.
3. The cooler from the vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. The cooler to the vehicle.
2. The bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).
3. The power steering cooler hose and pipe connections.

Fill and bleed the system. Refer to "Bleeding the Power Steering System."
