Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove necessary access covers.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold, then lower vehicle.
5. Disconnect AIR hose from check valve.
6. If removing left side manifold, disconnect oxygen sensor connector and remove power steering pump bracket from manifold.
7. If removing right side manifold, disconnect dipstick tube bracket from the manifold and remove heat stove pipe.
8. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, washers and tab washers, then remove manifold.
9. Reverse procedure to install, using new gaskets.
