Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair
Remove or Disconnect
1. Raise the window completely.
2. Front door trim panel.
3. Water deflector.
4. Lock rods from the latch.
5. Rear run channel.
6. Nuts retaining the outside door handle.
7. Backing plate retaining the handle to the door.
8. Outside handle from the door.
Install or Connect
1. Outside handle to the door.
2. Backing plate to retain the handle to the door.
3. Nuts to retain the outside door handle.

Tighten Nuts to 11 Nm (97 lb. in.)
4. Rear run channel.
5. Lock rods to the latch.
6. Water deflector.
7. Door trim panel.
