G 2500 3/4 Ton Van V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (1997)
Remove or Disconnect
1. The pump pulley from the vehicle. Refer to "Steering Pump Pulley."
2. Drain the steering fluid from the vehicle. Refer to "Draining and Filling the Power Steering System."
3. The hoses from the steering pump.
4. The bolt from the steering pump brace to the engine.
5. The bolts and nut from the bracket.
6. The bracket from the vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. The bracket to the vehicle.
2. The bolts and nut to the bracket.

Tighten the bracket retaining bolts and nut to 66 Nm (49 ft. lbs.).
3. The bolt to the steering pump brace and then to the engine.

Tighten the steering pump brace retaining bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
4. The hoses to the steering pump.
5. Fill the steering fluid reservoir. Refer to "Draining and Filling the Power Steering System."
6. The pump pulley to the vehicle. Refer to "Steering Pump Pulley."
7. Bleed the system. Refer to "Bleeding the Power Steering System."
