G 2500 3/4 Ton Van V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (1997)
Install or Connect
1. The new upper ball joint to the upper control arm and position the wheel speed sensor harness bracket (if equipped).

Position four attaching bolts and nuts.

Tighten the ball joint retaining nuts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
2. The upper ball joint to the steering knuckle.
3. The stud nut.

Tighten the ball joint to the steering knuckle nut to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).

Align the slot in the stud nut with the hole in the stud, by tightening the stud nut.
4. The new cotter pin.
5. The front brake caliper.
6. The tire and wheel.
7. Remove the safety stands.
8. Lower the vehicle.
Important:

Check the running clearance at all of the suspension components.
-
Check the front wheel alignment.
