Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Exhaust manifold bolt location

Right Side
1.
Disconnect batteries and raise vehicle.
2.
Disconnect exhaust pipe at manifold flange.
3.
Lower vehicle and remove engine cover, then disconnect glow plug wires.
4.
Remove manifold bolts, then the manifold.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Refer to Fig. 11 for bolt locations and torque.
Left Side
1.
Disconnect batteries, remove engine cover and raise vehicle.
2.
Disconnect glow plug wires, then lower vehicle.
3.
Disconnect exhaust pipe at manifold flange.
4.
Remove manifold bolts, then the manifold.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Refer to Fig. 11 for bolt locations and torque.
