Sliding Door Handle: Service and Repair
Outside Handle
SLIDING DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE
Remove or Disconnect
1. Door trim panel.
2. Door control assembly.
3. Lock rods from the latch.
4. Nuts retaining the outside door handle.
5. Backing plate retaining the handle to the door.
6. Outside handle from the door.
Install or Connect
1. Outside handle to the door.
2. Backing plate retaining the handle to the door.
3. Nuts retaining the outside door handle.
^
Tighten Nuts to 11 Nm (97 lb. in.)
4. Lock rods to the latch.
5. Door control assembly.
6. Door trim panel.
