Wastegate Solenoid: Service and Repair
Wastegate Solenoid
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cables. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution. See: Computers and Control Systems/Service Precautions/Vehicle
Damage Warnings
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses.
4. Remove the solenoid mounting bolt.
5. Remove the wastegate solenoid.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wastegate solenoid.
2. Install the wastegate mounting bolt.
3. Connect the vacuum hoses.
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Connect the negative battery cables.
