5. Connect the hood release cable to the hood release handle (1).
6. Install the left hinge pillar trim. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side).

7. Pull the string and the hood release cable into the engine compartment.
8. Remove the string from the hood release cable.
9. Install the hood latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement   (See: Hood Latch/Service and Repair).

10. Close the hood.
