9. Remove the park brake cable (1) from the cable guide tube (2).

10. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and

Repair).

11. Release the park brake cable end (1) from the caliper park brake lever.
12. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, depress the retaining tabs (4) on the park brake cable fitting, and release the cable fitting from the cable bracket.
13. Remove the park brake cable guide (3) retaining bolt (2), and remove the cable.
