Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Exhaust

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine

Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair).

2. Disconnect the exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1).

3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt. Intake CMP shown, exhaust CMP similar.
4. Remove the CMP sensor.
