Strut Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle just high enough to remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Wheels and

Tires/Service and Repair).

2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the front suspension strut. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement   (See: Stabilizer Bar/Stabilizer

Link/Service and Repair).

3. Remove the front suspension strut mounting nut (1) on the front suspension strut stud (2).
4. Raise the vehicle high enough to access the lower front suspension strut bolts.
5. Support the lower control arm with a adjustable jack stand.
