3. Once installed, pull on both sides of the fitting to ensure that the connection is secure.
4. Tighten the fuel filler cap.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
6. Inspect for leaks.
1. Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
3. Turn ON the ignition.
4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
