5. Install the oil pan drain plug (430) and O-ring (429).
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Fill the engine with the appropriate amount and type of NEW engine oil. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities and Fluid and Lubricant
Recommendations .
8. Check the oil level.
9. Install the oil fill cap.
10. Open the hood.
11. Reset the engine oil lift monitor, if necessary. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting .
