Removing Rotor From Spindle. K3500 Models

REMOVE

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Brake caliper.
3. Drive axle nut.
4. Remove rotor retaining bolts, Fig. 3, then using a wheel puller, remove hub/rotor assembly, Fig. 4.
5. Tie rod end from the knuckle.    
6. Splash shield bolts and splash shield.

CAUTION: Support the lower control arm with a jack stand.

7. Remove upper ball joint nut and upper ball joint.    
8. Remove lower ball joint nut and upper ball joint.    
9. Remove knuckle.

INSTALL

1. Reverse procedure to install.
