5. Manually start two nuts on to air pump assembly studs. Torque two nuts to 35 Nm (26 ft lb).
6. Electrical connector to secondary air injection system electric air control bypass valve.
7. Vacuum hose to secondary air injection system electric air control bypass valve.
8. Lower secondary air injection system hose to check valve.
9. Lower vehicle.
10. Negative battery cable.
11. Check system operation. Refer to CHART C-6.
