1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove washer hoses, then wiper arms retaining nuts.

3.

Lift each wiper arm and insert a suitable pin or pop rivet completely through the two holes located next to pivot of arm.

4.

Using pulling tool No. J-22888D or equivalent with -35 legs and -90 tip, remove arms from drive shafts as shown in Fig. 14.

5.

Lift hood and remove air cleaner.

6.

Disconnect harness connector from wiper motor.

7.

Using a No. 55 Torx bit, remove two wiper housing attaching bolts.

8.

Using a 10mm socket, remove three frame to washer assembly mounting nuts.

9.

Remove wiper module assembly, Fig. 15.

10.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a.

Install wiper motor in park position.

b.

Install wiper arms on drive shaft, then install drive shaft to wiper arm nuts finger tight, then remove pin near each arm pivot.

c.

Ensure distance between tip of the wiper blades and the bottom edge of the glass is approximately 5/8 inch for left side and 1-1/3 inches for
right side.

d.

Hold blade tip when tightening arm retaining nut.
