Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
LEFT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove serpentine belt, then A/C compressor.
3. Remove engine strut, then engine strut bracket.
4. Disconnect crossover pipe, then remove manifold.
5. Reverse procedure to install, tighten manifold bolts to specifications.
RIGHT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then oxygen sensor wire.
2. Disconnect crossover pipe, then raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove exhaust pipe and support frame at rear center.
4. Remove frame mount bolts and lower frame 8-10.0 inches. Remove manifold.
5. Reverse procedure to install; tighten manifold bolts to specifications.
