Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Testing and Inspection

Clean hoses and regulating orifice in detergent oil and blow away foreign matter with compressed air.

If equipped with a regulating valve (PCV), disassemble valve, wash parts in detergent oil and inspect parts for damage.

Replace assembly if any parts are found defective.

Inspect hoses for cracks, fatigue or swelling. Replace hoses if defective.
