Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

CAUTION:  The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed in the air induction flex tube Care must be taken when handling a IAT sensor to avoid
damage.

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
3. Carefully remove the IAT sensor from air cleaner outlet duct.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the IAT sensor into air cleaner outlet duct.
2. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
