Engine Coolant Crossover Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement   ().
2. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement   (See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Generator

Replacement).

3. Remove the drive belt idler pulleys. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement   ().
4. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement   (See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power

Steering Pump/Service and Repair/Power Steering Pump Replacement).

5. Reposition the radiator surge tank inlet hose clamp (1) at the surge tank inlet pipe.
6. Remove the radiator surge tank inlet hose from the inlet pipe. Position the hose out of the way.
