Note:  Replace the muffler hangers and exhaust gaskets any time the exhaust system is removed from the vehicle. Do not use any mineral oil based
lubricants or sharp tools when installing new exhaust system hangers.

1. With the aid of an assistant, position the muffler assembly.
2. Install the muffler insulators to the hangers.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

3. Install the exhaust pipe to muffler nuts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
4. Lower the vehicle.
