The main bearing bolt torque is specified as 145 N-M (107 
ft.lbs.) in the 1982 model service manuals. This has been 
changed and is now 120 N-m (89 ft.lbs.)   

Please make this  

change in the 1982 Citation and Celebrity Service Manual, page 6A7-31 and in the regular manual, page 6A6-42 for Malibu, Monte Carlo and El
Camino.

Care must be exercised not to over torque or under torque these bolts.
