Wheel Cylinder Replacement
Tools Required
J 38400 Brake Shoe Spanner and Spring Remover
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution.
3. Remove the brake drum.
4. Clean any debris and contaminants from around the brake hose banjo bolt to wheel cylinder connection.
5. Support the lower control arm assembly with a jack stand or suitable support fixture.
