6. Fit the boot (2) into the caliper groove and cylinder (1) with fingers.
7. Insert the piston into the cylinder by hand and fit the boot inside the piston groove.
8. To confirm that the boot is fitted, pull the piston out of the cylinder a little, but do not remove it.
9. Insert the piston into the cylinder by hand.
10. Install the caliper to the vehicle.
Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the linings.
2. Remove the two bolts and the caliper carrier from the vehicle.
3. Remove the two caliper pins, with the boots, from the caliper carrier (1).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Lubricate the caliper pins with silicone grease.
2. Install the two caliper pins, with the boots, to the caliper carrier.
NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.
3. Install the caliper carrier to the vehicle. Secure the carrier with two bolts.

Tighten the caliper carrier bolts to 40-60 Nm (29-43 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the linings.
