Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Wheel Speed Senor Jumper Harness Replacement (Front)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE 

1. Disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor jumper to harness connector, (located near the strut tower inside the engine compartment). 
3. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable hoist.
4. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the three bolts retaining the harness to the vehicle.
6. Remove the harness from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 

1. Install the jumper harness to the vehicle; secure with three bolts.

Tighten the jumper harness retaining bolts to 8 Nm (70.8 inch lbs.). 

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions. 

2. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the wheel speed sensor jumper to harness connector.
5. Connect the Negative (-) battery cable.
6. Perform the "Diagnostic System Check".
