1. Raise the hood.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the cross vehicle brace.
4. Remove the hood side rear seal from the pinch-weld flange (1).

5. Install the J 28467-9OA onto the strut attaching studs.

6. Install the strut tower support assemblies J 28467-5A over the J 28467-9OA.
