Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Door Handle Replacement: Front Outside - Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door lock cylinder.
2. Remove the lock rod from the outside door handle.
3. Remove the following components from the the door:

The right outside handle bolt

The outside door handle (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Door Handle Replacement: Front Outside - Installation Procedure

1. Install the outside door handle to the door. Secure the handle with the right outside door handle bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the right outside door handle bolt to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in).

2. Install the door lock cylinder.
