Evaporator Hose Assembly

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Discharge and recover the refrigerant.

3. Disconnect the refrigerant pressure switch connector (1).
4. Remove the bolt (4).

Important: Cap the open fittings to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the refrigeration system.

5. Slide the plate (5) and remove the evaporator liquid hose (3) from the condenser.

6. Disconnect the union (4) of the evaporator liquid hose (5) and the evaporator tube (3).
7. Remove the evaporator liquid hose (5).

Installation Procedure

Important:

Use new O-rings lubricated with 525 viscosity mineral oil.

When replacing the evaporator liquid hose add 30 cc (1.0 fl oz) of refrigerant oil to the system.
