Prizm L4-108 1.8L DOHC VIN 8 MFI (1998)
NOTICE:Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the stoplamp switch (1) to the brake pedal bracket. Secure the stoplamp switch (1) using one locknut. Do not tighten.
2. Adjust the stoplamp clearance. Refer to Stoplamp Switch Adjustment.
3. Tighten the locknut for the stoplamp switch.

Tighten the locknut to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).
4. Connect the stoplamp switch electrical connector.
5. Install the left side air outlet duct to the I/P. Secure the outlet duct with the screw.
6. Install the left side air ventilation duct to the I/P. Secure the ventilation duct with the plastic retainer.
7. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
