Door Switch: Service and Repair
Door Jamb Switch Replacement - Front
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rubber boot (2) from the front door jamb switch.
2. Remove the one mounting bolt and pull the switch (1) from the door jamb.
3. Disconnect the front door jamb switch electrical connector.
4. Remove the door jamb switch from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the front door jamb switch electrical connector.
2. Install the rubber boot (2) to the front door jamb switch.
3. Install the switch (1) to the doorjamb. Secure the switch with the mounting bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the front door jamb switch mounting bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
