Fuel Hose/pipes Replacement (Chassis)

Removal Procedure

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Release Procedure.

2. Remove the fuel feed line quick connect coupling cover (1) in the engine compartment.

3. Disconnect the fuel feed hose quick connect coupling from the fuel feed chassis pipe. Use a shop towel to catch any remaining fuel that may leak.
4. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
5. Disconnect the fuel tank supply hose quick connect coupling from the fuel feed chassis pipe. Use a shop towel to catch any remaining fuel that

may leak.

6. Remove the four nuts (2) and the one bolt from the EVAP/fuel pipe protector (1).
7. Remove the EVAP/fuel pipe protector (1) from the vehicle underbody.
8. Remove the one bolt from the fuel pipe front bulkhead support.
9. Remove the fuel feed pipe from the vehicle underbody.
