Seat Belt Retractor: Service and Repair
Center - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear in Seats.

2. Remove the rear seat belt retractor lower anchor bolt (1).
3. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window in Body Rear End.

4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

The one mounting bolt (1).

The rear seat center belt retractor (2).

Installation Procedure

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. See: Seat Belt Tensioner/Service Precautions

1. Install the rear center belt retractor (2) to the vehicle. Secure the retractor to the mounting bolt (1).

Tighten
Tighten the rear seat belt retractor mounting bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

2. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window in Body.
