Hazard Warning Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Using a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry and release the three clips around the rear window defogger/hazard warning switch trim plate (1).
3. Disconnect the hazard warning switch electrical connector (2).
4. Depress the tab on each side of the hazard switch.
5. Remove the switch from the rear window defogger/hazard warning switch trim plate (3).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the hazard warning switch to the rear window defogger/hazard warning switch trim plate (3). Ensure that the tabs are fully engaged.
2. Connect the hazard warning switch electrical connector (2).
