Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair
PSP Switch Replacement
Removal Procedure
POwer Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch Signal
1. Disconnect the power steering pressure (PSP) switch (1) electrical connector.
2. Remove the PSP switch (1) from the high pressure power steering line above the power steering pump (2).
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
POwer Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch Signal
1. Install the PSP switch (1) into the high pressure power steering line above the power steering pump (2).
Tighten
Tighten the PSP switch to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
2. Connect the PSP switch electrical connector.
