An improved seal for the rear cam cover, kit P/N 10054590, is available to replace the RTV sealant and cover plate. The surface should be thoroughly
cleaned and checked for flush plugs in the sealing area before installing the new cover, P/N 14090972, and gasket P/N 14090974 contained in the kit.
Torque bolts to 8-14 N-m.
Use applicable Labor Operation Number and Labor Time.
