Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Defrost Valve Vacuum Actuator Replacement

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Floor console (4X4), if equipped.

2. Instrument panel.  See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Cluster / Carrier/Service and Repair 

3. Vacuum connectors, as necessary.

4. Air distributor duct from heater assembly.

5. Screw from mode valve shaft.

6. Mode valve shaft.

7. Mode valve.

8. Actuator nuts from the inside of the air distributor duct.

9. Actuator.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Actuator

2. Actuator nuts from the inside of the air distributor duct.

3. Mode valve.

4. Mode valve shaft.

5. Screw to mode valve shaft.

6. Air distributor duct to heater assembly.

7. Vacuum connectors, as necessary.

8. Instrument panel. 

9. Floor console (4x4), if equipped.
