8. Use the valve lifter remover in order to remove the valve lifters.

9. If the valve lifters cannot be removed with the special tools in order to remove the valve lifters.

INSTALLATION

1. Coat the valve lifter rollers with prelube.

NOTE:  If reusing the valve lifters, install in their original location.

2. Install valve lifters.
3. Install valve lifter guides.
4. Install valve lifter guide retainer bolts.

Tighten to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)

5. Install the retainer.
6. Install the intake manifold.
7. Install the pushrod and rocker arm.
8. Install the rocker arm cover.
