Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
Housing Replacement
REMOVAL
1. Remove the flywheel. Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.
2. Remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the oil seal housing nuts and bolts.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the rear oil seal.
2. Install the rear oil seal housing nuts and bolts.

Tighten the rear crankshaft oil seal housing nuts and bolts to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the oil pan.
4. Install the flywheel.
