Inability to obtain W.O.T. (Accelerator Cable too long).
The throttle cable cam on the Throttle Body has been re-designed. This change causes the throttle blade to open sooner for a given throttle position.
This production change occurred during 1997 vehicle production in mid-October, 1996. The above VIN breakpoints have been established:
The use of the new Throttle Body requires a different Accelerator Cable.
When ordering service parts, determine which Throttle Body the engine has. The correct Accelerator Cable must be used.
