Accelerator Cables (1) have the part number stamped in the cable.
This production change occurred during 1997 vehicle production in mid-October, 1996. The above VIN breakpoints have been established:
The use of the new Throttle Body requires a different Accelerator Cable.
When ordering service parts, determine which Throttle Body the engine has. The correct Accelerator Cable must be used.
The chart shows which Accelerator Cable should be used with each Throttle Body. Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
