Rear Knuckle Alignment Link: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

Raise the vehicle on a hoist and support rear axle at curb height position.
1. Rear tie rod mounting bolts, washers and nuts at axle bracket and at frame bracket.
2. Rear tie rod.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Position rear tie rod in frame bracket and loosely install bolt, washers, and nut.
2. Position rear tie rod in axle bracket and loosely install bolt, washers, and nut.
Tighten

Rear tie rod to axle bracket nut to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).

Rear tie rod to frame mount nut to 61 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
