Wiper Blade Replacment

Wiper Arm and Blade Assembly Replacement

Description

Remove or Disconnect

1. Put wiper arm assembly (8) in park position.
2. Hose assembly elbow (9) from vehicle connector.
3. Cap (10) from wiper arm assembly (8).
4. Nut (11) from wiper arm assembly (8).
5. Wiper arm assembly (8) from shaft (C).
6. Wiper blade assembly (12) from wiper arm assembly (S).

A. Push in button (A) of blade assembly clip (B) and remove wiper blade assembly (12) from inside radius of wiper arm assembly (8).
B. Bring wiper arm assembly (8) out through opening in wiper blade assembly (12).

Install or Connect

1. Wiper blade assembly (12) to wiper arm assembly (B).
2. Wiper arm assembly (8) on wiper motor shaft (C) in park position with wiper arm assembly (B) resting on wiper arm park ramp (16).
3. Nut (11) to wiper arm assembly (8).

Tighten

Nut (11) to 23 N.m (17 lb. ft.).

4. Cap (10) to wiper arm assembly (8).
5. Hose assembly elbow (9) to vehicle connector.

Inspect

^

Operate wiper and check for proper wipe pattern and park operation.
