Lumbar Support
Troubleshooting Hints
1. Check PWR ACCY circuit breaker. If circuit breaker will not reset replace circuit breaker.
2. If both driver and passenger Power Seat Back Lumbar Supports are inoperative check circuit 540 between Splice S282 and I/P Fuse Block and/or
ground circuit 150 between Splice S400 and Ground G452.
3. If one seat lumbar support is inoperative check for evidence of motor overheating or for pinched or broken wires. Replace or repair as necessary.
Either Power Seat Back Lumbar Support Inoperative
Circuit Operation
Each seat incorporates a Power Seat Back Lumbar Support for mechanically changing the contour of the seat. Ground is supplied at all times to both
Power Seat Back Lumbar Support Switches. When the Power Seat Back Lumbar Support Switch is actuated one way or the other, voltage is applied and
current flows in the corresponding direction through the Power Seat Back Lumbar Support Motor.
