1. Install the new gasket and the crankshaft rear oil housing on to the studs.
2. Install the rear oil seal housing nuts and bolts.

Tighten the rear crankshaft oil seal housing nuts and bolts to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

3. Coat the new oil seal entirely with clean engine oil.
4. Install the seal onto the rear crankshaft oil seal installer.
5. Install the rear crankshaft oil seal installer onto the rear of the crankshaft.

Tighten the screws snugly in order to ensure that the seal will be installed squarely over the crankshaft.

6. Install the rear crankshaft oil seal to the crankshaft and the rear crankshaft oil seal housing.

Tighten the wing nut on the rear crankshaft oil seal installer until the oil seal bottoms.

7. Remove the rear crankshaft oil seal installer from the rear crankshaft oil seal housing.
8. Install the oil pan.
9. Install the flywheel.
