INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install a new seal into the transmission case.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube into the seal.
3. Install the bolt and nut securing the oil level indicator tube and engine harness ground wires to the engine block.

Tighten the bolt to 32 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the, bolt, securing the oil level indicator tube to the side of the engine head.
5. Tighten the bolt to 32 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the air cleaner.
7. Install the transmission oil level indicator.
8. Install the negative battery cable.
