Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair
Front Washer Pump Replacemenet

Description

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Washer solvent.
3. Electrical connector and washer hose assembly from the washer pump.
4. Solvent container mounting screws.
5. Air filter housing by sliding up. where necessary.
6. Solvent container from the vehicle.
7. Washer pump from the container.

Install or Connect

1. Washer pump to the container.

Make sure washer pump is pushed all the way into the container seal.

2. Solvent container to the vehicle by inserting legs into the inner fender holes.
3. Solvent container screw.

Tighten

Solvent container mounting screws to 3 N.m (27 lbs. in.).

4. Air filter housing if removed.
5. Electrical connector and washer hose assembly
6. Washer solvent.
7. Negative battery cable.

Inspect

^

Perform System Check.
